Data Architect - OpenMetadata & OpenShift

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Architect - Senior Consultant for an initial 5 month contract within the regulated healthcare and insurance sector. This position focuses on the deployment, configuration, and long-term operational management of a centralised data cataloguing solution built within an enterprise container platform. Operating on a hybrid model that blends remote flexibility with occasional on-site collaboration, this role is ideal for a senior engineering or architecture professional capable of bridging the gap between automated cloud infrastructure and complex data governance tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end deployment, orchestration, and continuous operation of an open-source metadata management and data cataloguing platform.
  

• Design, configure, and maintain robust containerized environments utilising enterprise Kubernetes and Red Hat platform solutions.
  

• Build, optimize, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless application delivery and environment stability.
  

• Utilize advanced deployment orchestration tools to manage package configurations, applications, and system updates across cluster environments.
  

• Collaborate with internal data infrastructure teams to ensure high availability, stringent security compliance, and optimal performance of the platform.
