Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Total experience 8+ years
  • Hands-on experience in Workday HCM configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Extend and a strong understanding of its capabilities.
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst, gathering and translating business requirements into Workday solutions.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM modules and business processes.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Workday HCM and Workday Extend applications.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and recommend scalable functional solutions.
  • Experience preparing functional specifications, test plans, user guides, and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for Workday HCM and Extend-related issues.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Workday certification is preferred.
  • Willingness to work in the 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM IST shift to support US/UK business hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, maintain, and support Workday HCM modules and Workday Extend applications.
  • Act as a Functional Consultant and Business Analyst, collaborating with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday HCM and Workday Extend solutions.
  • Ensure Workday HCM and Extend solutions align with business objectives and organizational processes.
  • Configure and optimize Workday business processes to support evolving business needs.
  • Perform functional analysis, impact assessments, testing, and validation of system enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday HCM and Workday Extend issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
  • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, solution documentation, test plans, user guides, and knowledge articles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, implementation partners, and IT teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide user support, training, and guidance on Workday HCM functionality and Workday Extend capabilities.
  • Stay current with Workday product releases, new features, and industry best practices, recommending enhancements where appropriate.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Workday practice.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational standards and governance.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
