Job description

We are hiring a Secretary / Project Manager for a US-based construction company. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that multiple projects are moving forward smoothly. You’ll be the key liaison between the architect, expediter, drafter, and other professionals—following up, coordinating schedules, managing filings and approvals, and tracking project progress.

This role requires someone well-versed in the construction industry, with a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and communication.

Responsibilities

-Follow up with architects, drafters, and expediters to ensure project milestones are met

-Coordinate and monitor project filings, permits, and approval processes

-Maintain project timelines and ensure documentation is up-to-date

-Serve as the main point of contact for various project stakeholders

-Anticipate potential project delays and proactively address them

-Track progress of multiple projects simultaneously and report regularly

Requirements

Qualifications

-Proven experience as a Construction Secretary, Project Manager, or in a similar role

-Solid understanding of construction processes and terminology

-Highly organized and detail-oriented

-Strong communication and follow-up skills

-Ability to multitask and manage timelines independently

-Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Tools (Experience in any of the following is a plus)

-Project Management Tools: Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com

-Communication Tools: Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom

-Document Management: Google Workspace, Dropbox, DocuSign

-Construction Software (optional but preferred): AutoCAD, Procore, Buildertrend

Benefits

Location: Remote (Work-from-Home)

Work Hours: Full-Time | 9 AM – 5 PM EST (9 PM – 5 AM PH Time)

Salary: USD 650–700/month
