About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing eCommerce business looking for a proactive and customer-focused Operations Executiveto support daily operations during a busy growth period. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This role combines customer service, operations, inventory coordination, and light Shopify administration. The successful candidate will work closely with the founders and warehouse team to ensure orders are processed efficiently and customers receive outstanding support.

Morning availability is essential to align with warehouse order cut-off times.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Manage customer enquiries via email in a professional and timely manner.
  • Resolve customer issues with empathy and a solutions-focused approach.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and order-related queries.

Operations

  • Coordinate daily order processing.
  • Monitor stock availability and inventory levels.
  • Assist with stock management and reporting.
  • Liaise with the warehouse to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of orders.
  • Support operational improvements and process documentation.

Shopify Support

  • Process customer orders within Shopify.
  • Update products, inventory, and order information as required.
  • Troubleshoot basic Shopify-related issues.
  • Assist with administrative tasks relating to the online store.

General Administration

  • Support founders with ad hoc operational tasks.
  • Maintain organised records and operational documentation.
  • Assist with reporting and general business administration.

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in Operations, Customer Service, eCommerce Support, or an Operations Coordinator role.
  • Excellent written English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Experience working with Shopify (or similar eCommerce platforms).
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Reliable internet connection and suitable home office.

Desirable

  • Experience working with inventory or stock management.
  • Previous experience supporting an eCommerce business.
  • Experience working with remote international teams.
  • Process improvement mindset.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools.
