E-Commerce Integration Developer (Shopify Plus) - Work From Home / Dayshift

We are seeking a Marketplace Integration Developer to support Shopify and marketplace platform operations through system integrations, API development, and seller onboarding. The role involves connecting external sellers to the marketplace, troubleshooting integration and product data issues, managing platform functionality, and ensuring sellers can successfully manage their product portfolios while contributing to the scalability and growth of the marketplace ecosystem.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Shopify and marketplace platform functionality to support business and e-commerce requirements.
• Configure, test, and troubleshoot API integrations, product feeds, inventory updates, pricing data, and order workflows.
• Support seller onboarding by integrating external vendors, products, and systems into the marketplace platform.
• Manage product data, including categories, variants, attributes, pricing, stock levels, and catalogue accuracy.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation to sellers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, platform providers, and technology partners to improve platform performance and user experience.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve seller self-service, and enhance marketplace scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5+ years of experience in Shopify development, e-commerce development, marketplace platforms, or API integrations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, themes, and front-end development.
• Proven experience working with REST APIs, third-party integrations, product feeds, data mapping, and system-to-system workflows.
• Experience integrating Shopify or marketplace platforms with ERP, inventory, warehouse, and other e-commerce systems; Marketplacer experience is highly regarded.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to resolve integration and product data issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience supporting vendor or seller onboarding and explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
