Position Title: Automation Developer

Reports To: Robotic & Intelligent Automation Manager

Department: Robotic & Intelligent Automation

Position Summary

The Automation Developer is in charge of designing, developing, and testing the automation workflows and supporting the implementation of the RPA solution for multiple products and applications, while adhering to the company’s quality standards and policies. The Developer works side by side with the Business Analyst for documenting process details and assists the engagement team in implementing & testing the solution as well as during maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the different Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, review, retrospective, and huddles.)

  • Design, develop, and test RPA solutions to drive efficiencies and process improvement within the different departments.

  • Work within project constraints, communicating any identified roadblocks promptly.

  • Help develop coding standards and best practices for RPA including governance, operating model and solutions.

  • Perform code reviews and demos for stakeholders.

  • Support and maintain existing RPA solutions in production, as required.

  • Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development, security, operations, and maintenance.

  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of automated tools and utilities.

  • Support LLS’ Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve the Division’s processes, procedures, and services; and thereby increase efficiency, productivity, effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Skills and Capabilities

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields.

  • English (90% proficiency.)

  • Proven experience of successfully automating manual repetitive tasks using UiPath and Power Automate. Minimum 2 years of experience.

  • Knowledge of attended, unattended and hybrid RPA automations.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that are reusable and resilient against system or application changes.

  • Ability to interpret and visualize business process flows and translate them to automation solutions and test scripts.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Strong team-player and self-started attitude.

  • Ability to create technical documentation.

  • Well organized, attentive to details.

Desirable

  • Python experience

  • UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification.

  • Knowledge in API integrations.

  • Previous experience in agile working methodologies.

  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma process methodologies.​
