We have an opening for a Infection Preventionist - Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA) II (Remote and must reside in Wyoming)
The full-time remote Infection Preventionist - QIA II must reside in Wyoming and is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention strategies that reduce healthcare-associated infections, strengthen regulatory readiness, and promote a culture of safety through evidence-based practices. This position will serve as a subject matter expert in infection prevention and control, providing consultation, field support, data analysis, education, and outbreak response.

The Infection Preventionist - QIA II is a full-time remote position in Wyoming. The successful candidate would have excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with clinical, quality, and leadership teams to identify risks, recommend practical improvements, and support sustained performance improvement.
Experience in healthcare with National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) reporting, infection surveillance, and experience with Infection Control Assessment and Response (ICAR) preferred. A bachelor's degree in nursing, Public Health, Microbiology, or related field and Certification in Infection Control preferred.
This position requires travel up to 15-60%. The target compensation for this position is $70,000 - $95,000 a year.
