Make a difference.

As a Sales Trainer you will assist in designing, implementing, and continuously improving Graybar’s sales onboarding, development, and coaching programs partnering closely with business leaders, sales managers, learning and development, and subject matter experts. You will delivers sales training programs, coaches learner and managers, measures business impact, and ensures that learning initiatives align with Graybar’s growth strategy.

In this role you will:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of sales training and development programs.
  • Establish development pathways that support career progression within sales roles.
  • Manage sales onboarding and readiness programs to ensure consistent experiences across locations.
  • Deliver instructor-led training, virtual learning, workshops, and cohort-based learning experiences.
  • Utilize a variety of learning methodologies including classroom instruction, coaching, role plays, simulations, AI-enabled practice, and on-the-job learning.
  • Providing coaching and performance support to sales trainees and sales professionals.
  • Partner with sales managers to strengthen coaching effectiveness and reinforce learning in the field.
  • Support learners through structured development plans, readiness assessments, and milestone reviews.
  • Coordinate training schedules, cohorts, assessments, and learning activities.
  • Ensure training programs are executed consistently across districts and business units.

What you bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales, sales leadership, sales training, or sales enablement minimum
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the sales process and consultative selling
  • Knowledge of facilitation methods
  • Knowledge of learning program design
  • Written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence within assigned functions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute effectively
  • Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights

This position is a 6-12 month contract, with possibility to hire.
