Job Title: Creative Lead

Location: South Africa

Job Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative and passionate Junior Brand Manager to elevate our brand presence and ensure all marketing materials are visually engaging, consistent, and aligned with our brand identity.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, branding, and visual storytelling. While you won't be responsible for creating every graphic yourself, you will provide creative direction and collaborate closely with our Graphics Renderer and Marketing Specialist to ensure all advertisements, banners, social media content, and marketing campaigns are polished, impactful, and visually appealing.

You will be responsible for maintaining the overall look and feel of the brand while bringing fresh ideas and creative concepts that enhance our marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the company's visual brand identity across all marketing channels.
  • Provide creative direction for digital advertisements, banners, landing pages, email campaigns, and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the Graphics Renderer to ensure designs are visually appealing, modern, and aligned with the brand.
  • Work alongside the Marketing Specialist to ensure creative assets are effectively implemented across digital platforms.
  • Review and approve creative content before publication.
  • Develop creative concepts and campaign ideas that strengthen brand awareness and engagement.
  • Ensure consistency in colours, typography, imagery, messaging, and overall brand presentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the visual quality and effectiveness of marketing materials.
  • Stay up to date with design, branding, and digital marketing trends.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining brand guidelines.
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of creative output across the team.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years' experience in Branding, Marketing, Creative Design, or a related field.
  • Qualification in Marketing, Branding, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a similar discipline is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of branding principles and visual communication.
  • Exceptional eye for design, layout, colour, typography, and aesthetics.
  • Experience working with creative teams, designers, or marketing professionals.
  • Ability to confidently provide creative feedback and direction.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Passion for creating visually engaging marketing content.
