We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Oversight Manager on a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract. The role sits within our Financial Shared Services team and we are flexible on the location of the role.
The Supplier Oversight Manager primary focus will be to support the Supplier Management Lead to manage our supplier management programme for our critical, strategic, and key operational suppliers ensuring we are set up to succeed in delivering strong supplier performance, value and innovation enabling delivery of our strategy.
The Job
Reporting to the Supplier Management Lead, this role will:
- Support the adoption of ACCA’s global procurement policies, frameworks and procurement centre of excellence ensuring we are driving value, innovation and improvement from our supplier relationships and contracts (c£120m annually)
- Support identification and awareness of our top supplier risk’s, working closely with Business Contract Owners and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a quality review is undertaken, compliance requirements are met, key risks are understood, and any mitigating actions are incorporated in line with our risk management framework
- Working closely with the Supplier Management Lead, coordinate the annual benchmark of our supplier management programme progress through a competencies-based survey generating ACCA performance v best practice. Supporting ongoing actions as recommended in the final report
- Manage our various supplier management reporting weekly/monthly/quarterly dashboard and governance demonstrating our successful continuous improvement journey and procurement oversight against our procurement key controls
- Act as key point of contact of escalation for business contract owners for (but not limited to) coaching, support for failing or problem relationships and training requirements
- Support evaluation and improvement on our environmental, social and governance to all our of our top suppliers.
The Person
- Studying towards MCIPS or equivalent
- Able to demonstrate experience of working in a supplier management/sourcing/ ESG procurement role
- Able to build good working relationships (challenge and support), negotiate and influence across the organisation and ACCA’s Critical, Strategic, and key Operational suppliers
- Ability to Innovate and generate ideas on how we do things to improve how we deliver (continuous improvement)
- Good numeracy and analytical skills to actively interrogate and present data in a meaningful format. Power automates and Power BI proficiency is essential
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced, fast-changing, and high-pressure environment
- Extremely well organized, analytical, and resilient to pressure.
