Job description

About Us

Youth Enrichment Brands (YEB) is the nation's leading youth activities platform, serving over 1 million kids each year through camps, classes, leagues, and lessons. Our family of brands — including i9 Sports, School of Rock, Safesplash Swim Schools, and US Sports Camps (the official provider of Nike Camps) — share a single mission: to help as many kids as possible discover and develop their passion while building critical skills for life.

i9 Sports, the nation's largest multi-sport youth league provider, operates in communities across the country with over 5 million registrations. We deliver age-appropriate, fun, and convenient programming rooted in our mission to help kids succeed in life through sports.

The Role

The i9 Sports Franchise Business Coach (FBC) is a relationship-first coaching role that partners closely with franchise owners across the U.S. to help them build thriving, sustainable businesses. You'll serve as a trusted advisor across all dimensions of franchise operations — from marketing and financials to staffing and game day execution — while acting as a key connector between Area Developers and the Home Office.

This is a hands-on, high-accountability role for someone who loves digging into data, building genuine relationships, and driving measurable results.

What You'll Do

Franchisee Coaching & Relationship Management

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with assigned area developers and maintain consistent communication through regular documented touchpoints
  • Conduct business evaluations covering operations, sales, and marketing — analyzing performance data, sharing best practices, and following up with clear action items and deadlines
  • Help franchisees understand their unit economics, benchmark performance, and develop actionable business plans with specific goals

Communication & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Serve as the bridge between franchisees and the Home Office, facilitating clear, productive communication to resolve challenges and drive growth
  • Ensure franchisees are engaged with and executing on current brand initiatives

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Collaborate with internal teammates to continuously simplify and improve operational processes and franchisee support tools
  • Maintain accurate records through quarterly ProfitKeeper audits and CRM documentation of all franchisee interactions
  • Execute on individual “Rocks” set up in departmental planning sessions each quarter.

How We Measure Success

  • Area developers meeting or exceeding target KPIs and operating "on formula"
  • Franchisee participation in current brand initiatives. The ability to influence without authority is a key marker of success in coaching.
  • Consistent, documented contact cadence with assigned area developers
  • Achievement of personal quarterly and annual goals

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of franchise business coaching experience, or 5+ years of relevant franchise industry experience
  • Strong influencing and relationship-building skills — you can guide without authority
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable coaching conversations
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through and execution
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and rolls up their sleeves
  • Positive, professional presence that franchisees trust and want to work with

Location

This is a remote position within the US
