​​Looking for Filipino (Philippines-based) candidates

Job Role: Virtual Assistant (AI-Enabled)

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,500 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: The client is a director of a portfolio of Australia-based music and hospitality businesses spanning live events, nightlife venues, and music media. The portfolio includes S.A.S.H Events, Carousel Nightclub, Stanley's, Mixmag Australia/NZ, and Sessions Services.

Role Overview: This is a broad, hands-on Virtual Assistant role for someone technically savvy who can support the director directly and help the wider portfolio run smoothly. Part of the role is classic executive support (calendar, inbox, meetings, day-to-day tasks alongside with the Director). Part of it is operations support across the venues and brands (handling enquiries, social media messages, quotes, and research). And a meaningful portion is focused on AI: setting up AI tools and automations across the businesses to take repetitive, manual work off the team's plate. We are looking for someone sharp, organized, and genuinely comfortable adopting new tools.

Key Responsibilities: 

Executive Support (Director Assistance)

  • Act as the right-hand support to Director Kerry Wallace.
  • Manage, organize, and optimize calendars, meetings, and email correspondence.
  • Collaborate closely on ad-hoc projects and daily executive tasks.
  • Book travel plans - flights/transfers/hotels & online itineraries 

Brand Operations & Support

You will assist staff with daily processes, operations, research, and inquiries across the following business portfolio:

  • S.A.S.H Events: Support weekly events at Carousel Nightclub and global/domestic touring events. Handle social media inquiries and obtain supplier quotes. (Note: Occasional weekend support required).
  • Carousel Nightclub: Manage function inquiries and general operations for this premier venue (currently expanding from 2 to 4 nights a week in October).
  • Stanley’s Cocktail Bar: Assist with functions, operations, and quotes for a bustling 4-day-a-week venue.
  • Mixmag Australia/NZ: Assist the editorial and ticketing teams for this leading electronic music media platform, including managing social media inquiries.
  • Session Services: Conduct market research and provide ad-hoc operational support for this specialized ticketing platform.

AI & Efficiency Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows across all businesses.
  • Set up and maintain AI elements/tools to automate repetitive, time-consuming tasks.

Research

  • Run research across events, suppliers, ticketing, and industry topics.
  • Support Sessions Services and Mixmag with occasional research and tasks.

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Executive Assistant, or operations support.
  • Technically savvy and comfortable adopting and configuring software and AI tools (for example, ChatGPT or Claude, and automation platforms like Zapier or Make).
  • Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple businesses and stakeholders at once.
  • High attention to detail and reliability.
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a knack for handling customer and function inquiries professionally.
  • Ability to support occasional weekend requests, aligning with the hospitality and events calendar.

Nice To Have:

  • A genuine interest in electronic music, events, or the nightlife and hospitality scene.
  • Experience in hospitality, events, or venue operations.
  • Experience with social media management and enquiry handling.
  • Experience with ticketing platforms.
  • Experience building AI workflows or automations.
