Senior Embedded C++ Security Developer and Architect

THE WORK

• Own and evolve the architecture of MCU firmware, including security components and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), applying a forward-thinking and growth-driven approach.

• Design and implement advanced embedded security features such as Secure Boot and SecOC in modern C++, driven by challenges and a commitment to high-quality delivery.

• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to define system architecture and ensure alignment with security standards and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

• Conduct reviews across requirements, architecture, design, code, testing, and documentation, focusing on dedicated ongoing improvement.

• Contribute to the development of a Software-Defined Vehicle platform, supporting innovation in ADAS and Infotainment systems, while embracing opportunities for professional growth.

Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Advanced knowledge of modern C++ in embedded firmware and driver development.

• Experience with MCU architectures and embedded environments.

• Strong understanding of security concepts such as secure boot, key storage, certificate handling, and secure communication.

• Practical experience with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers).

• Understanding of RTOS and embedded operating systems.

• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as gtest and gmock.

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

• Knowledge of Tricore, ARM, or POSIX environments.

• Familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive) and functional safety concepts.

• Experience with MISRA, CERT, or static code analysis standards.

• Experience with Python and PyTest.
