Working closely with the Group Accounting team, the role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements within a global insurance business.

This is a full-time, office-based position in Bermuda (no remote working). The role involves regular collaboration with international teams, including those in Australia, and will require occasional flexibility in working hours during peak reporting periods.

  • Maintain and enhance financial controls in line with internal control frameworks

  • Support internal and external audit processes, including managing audit requests and providing high-quality evidence

  • Assist in statutory, regulatory, and Group reporting, including submissions to the Bermuda Monetary Authority

  • Support intercompany reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across global entities

  • Contribute to capital, treasury, and investment accounting activities

  • Identify process improvements and support finance transformation and automation initiatives

About You:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 5+ years post-qualified experience

  • Strong experience in IFRS reporting and financial control, ideally within insurance or reinsurance

  • Background in insurance/reinsurance preferred; Big 4/practice candidates also considered
