Job description

We are looking for a Travel Agent that is outgoing and is interested in helping clients achieve their travel goals. You will be planning incredible excursions for business and leisure clients to locations all over the world as an Agent! Travel fanatics and individuals skilled in planning are encouraged to jump for this fantastic role.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Research, Create, and Execute exceptional itineraries for clients

  • Review individuals needs and wants for travel, to ensure you can cater a trip specially designed to meet their needs

  • Complete ongoing training to earn and maintain certification to book travel

  • Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destinations

  • Review budgets, and plan trips according to clients budget constraints

  • Create promotional materials to utilize

  • Monitor restrictions on travel that come and go

  • Book travel needs (airline, car rental, hotel accommodations, cruise, ticket/event sales, etc)

  • Effectively communicate with clients pre/post travel

  • Handle issues that may arise during the bookings and/or travel for clients

  • Network with tour operators regarding packages that you can possibly offer to clients

  • Part Time or Full time

The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, with a strong sales background being a valuable asset. While having a smartphone with internet access is a requirement, owning a laptop is recommended but not mandatory. Though personal travel experience is highly desirable, it is not a strict requirement. Additionally, previous experience in customer service or hospitality would be advantageous, but it is not necessary to qualify for the position.
