Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to provide senior leadership and strategic oversight of the company's financial accounting and reporting processes, with a particular focus on technical accounting excellence including revenue recognition under ASC 606/IFRS 15, general ledger operations, SEC reporting, and financial controls.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Senior Director of Accounting, you will report to the Corporate Controller and will be responsible for providing strategic and operational guidance to the Accounting leadership team.
The Senior Director will play a pivotal role supporting the Company's financial objectives and driving a scalable and efficient accounting operation across multiple functional areas.
The Senior Director will play a key leadership role in the overall Accounting organization around change management, process and controls improvement and scaling the accounting operations and supporting infrastructure. In this role, you will be partnering with various leaders and will play an active role advising the business on complex transactions from an accounting perspective.
This role requires you to have a strong technical accounting background in various areas including revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15), financial statement preparation, SEC reporting, stock compensation accounting, equity, debt, capitalized software development, cost and equity method investment accounting, and other complex technical accounting matters.
You will manage and mentor the Accounting leadership team and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounting process including providing support to the business related to the technical areas listed above, creating policies and procedures, training, partnering with both internal and external auditors on key operational and SOX controls and quarterly audit requests, and more.
The Senior Director of Accounting will serve as the organization's primary authority on revenue recognition, owning and maintaining the company's revenue recognition policies and ensuring consistent application of ASC 606/IFRS 15 across all revenue streams, including SaaS, professional services
Bachelor's Degree

relevant work experience in accounting, with demonstrated expertise in technical accounting and revenue recognition

Compensation Range:
$156,290-$227,402Compensation for this job is subject to market conditions, geographic considerations, the candidate’s unique skills and experience, state and local laws, and budget.
