Job description

Job Role: Senior Oracle Developer
Location: Remote (CST)
Duration: 4 Months+

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and database objects.
Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support and resolve critical database issues.
Perform data analysis, troubleshooting, and data correction activities.
Administer Oracle databases including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, backup, and recovery.
Design, implement, and maintain materialized views and database performance optimization strategies.
Support database migration projects across on-premises, AWS, and Red Hat Linux (RHEL) environments.
Monitor database performance and proactively resolve bottlenecks.
Perform database security, user management, and access control administration.
Execute database deployment, release management, and post-deployment validation.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability and availability.

Required Skills

Strong Oracle Database Administration (DBA) experience.
Advanced PL/SQL development expertise.
Experience with production support and incident management.
Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills.
Experience with materialized views, partitioning, and database performance monitoring.
Hands-on experience with Oracle database migration and upgrade projects.
Experience working with AWS services (RDS, EC2, DMS, S3, CloudWatch).
Experience supporting Oracle databases on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
Knowledge of backup/recovery strategies, RMAN, Data Pump, and disaster recovery.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
