Attorney - Full-time

Location: New Orleans, LA

Required Qualifications: 

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Mississippi.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.

  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Job Description

  • Handle first party property cases from intake through trial or settlement.

  • Develop case strategies and manage case progress.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.

  • Conduct initial consultations and ongoing client meetings.

  • Conduct thorough legal research.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and depositions.

  • Advocate passionately on behalf of clients in front of judges and juries.

  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel.

  • Prepare and participate in mediations and arbitrations.

  • Work closely with paralegals and other support staff to ensure efficient case management.

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to firm strategy.
