Job description

Intuition Machines uses AI/ML to build enterprise security products. We apply our research to systems that serve hundreds of millions of people, with a team distributed around the world. You are probably familiar with our best-known product, the hCaptcha security suite. Our approach is simple: low overhead, small teams, and rapid iteration.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will collaborate with team members, product owners, and key stakeholders to outline, develop, and deliver solutions that meet defined requirements. You will manage deliverables, timelines, and expectations for assigned projects and features. Your responsibility includes implementing code to enhance the user experience while adhering to best practices in security and reliability. You will deeply understand our product and business goals, staying up to date with our innovations and market trends to ensure an attractive, consistent, and highly functional UX.

Using AI: Coding agents are indisputably useful tools. We provide access to the top 3 models, and were early adopters of evals-first development flows. Familiarity with coding using agents is part of all interviews. However, reliability and correctness are critical for us. You will need to read and understand every line of code with your name on it, and it will be reviewed by both people and machines.

What you’ll do:

  • Prioritize, design, develop, deploy, and operate secure, robust, scalable, and fast front-end web, mobile, and customer-facing solutions.
  • Write clearly structured, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code that aligns with our requirements and goals. The code should be of high enough quality to be open-sourced.
  • Improve our global codebase through brainstorming sessions, code reviews, unit testing, automation, and participating in an on-call rotation.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into actionable code for sprint pipelines while providing support and mentorship to peers.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
  • Strong domain knowledge of JavaScript for developing complex solutions, with expertise in frameworks like React.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture and engineering, including requirements gathering, problem-solving, and recommendations.
  • Communication, listening, and presentation skills with diverse audiences, along with experience in supporting and mentoring peers.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with WebGL, WebWorkers, or other modern Web APIs.
  • Familiarity with containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), etc.
  • Understanding of online security frameworks or annotation interfaces.

What we offer:

  • Fully remote position with flexible working hours.
  • An inspiring team of colleagues spread all over the world.
  • Pleasant, modern development and deployment workflows: ship early, ship often.
  • High impact: lots of users, happy customers, high growth, and cutting edge R&D.
  • Flat organization, direct interaction with customer teams.

We celebrate equality of opportunity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all team members.

Join us as we transform cybersecurity, user privacy, and machine learning online!

Please note that all positions require pre-employment screening, including third-party verification of work history, education, and identity, as well as a final in-person interview and identity verification step, which will be conducted in your country of residence.
