Job description

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst with a CFA designation to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in investment analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning. You will be instrumental in guiding data-driven decisions that support our client's growth and financial health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
  • Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models and forecasting tools
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present key findings to senior management
  • Analyze trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Perform research and financial / investment due diligence on private and public assets, including early-stage companies, VC funds, and real estate.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and support capital allocation decisions
  • Prepare financial / investment due diligence reports for internal and external clients
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, product) to support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Assist in scenario and sensitivity analysis for key business drivers
  • Monitor economic, industry, and market trends and assess their impact on the company’s financial plans
  • Support M&A activities, including due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning

Job Requirements

Professional Knowledge

  • CFA Charterholder (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or Master’s degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with financial planning software and ERP systems
  • Investment due diligence experience with both public and private companies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
