Job Title: Scrum Master / Kanban Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 06+ Months Contract on C2C

Job Description:

Summary

We are currently seeking a Scrum Master / Kanban Manager to lead the development efforts of a dynamic and energetic software platform development team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate and work with other specialists across the company in solving the complex problems using cutting edge technologies to push the company forward.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Look for 12 to 15+ years of experience.

• Plan, facilitate, run the scrum routines (daily stand-up, planning, demo, retrospective meetings)

• Coordinate the tasks of various team members, manage interdependencies and remove impediments

• Prepare, manage & track schedules to meet commitments

• Support the product owner in creating and maintaining the product backlog

• Escalate issues and raise flags in a timely manner

• Track and report the scrum metrics (team velocity, backlog status)

• Interface with scrum masters / project managers of other teams to manage dependencies and prepare joint plans

• Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences for smooth execution

• Coach the team on agile practices to ensure project success

Qualification

• 8+ years of proven work experience in software development / testing / software project management. Minimum 3 years of experience as Scrum Master / Kanban process manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field

• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies / frameworks – Scrum, Kanban

• Excellent communication, time management and stakeholder management skills

• In-depth knowledge of software development process

• Experience with large scale complex software development program will be a big plus to succeed in this role

• The candidate should have a high-level understanding of software architecture and its various layers like backend and frontend

• Scrum master certification is a plus

• Attention to details, team-player mindset and positive attitude are key to thrive in this role

• Should embrace diversity and have excellent people interaction and negotiation skills.
