RN Manager NICU

Research Medical Center

Full Time, Day Shift – No Weekends

About this unit:

·20-bed level III NICU

·We are equipped with the latest technology to support preemies and other babies who need time and care to heal and grow

·Our experienced multidisciplinary team provides highly coordinated advanced care

Responsibilities:

·Provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility.

· Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families.

· Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner.

· Supports the mission and vision of the facility, division and company.

· Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement process.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.

·Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.

·American Heart Association BCLS and ACLS is required and maintained.

·Neonate Resuscitate required and maintained.

·Three (3) years current clinical nursing experience required.

·Minimum 2 years of management experience and 2 years of LDRP/NICU staff nurse experience
