Job description

Job Title - Technical Writer

Our client is building a modern cross-border payments and financial infrastructure platform (exchange, clearing, messaging, digital currency) for banks and financial institutions. We are looking for a Technical Writer to create clear, structured documentation for both internal teams and external clients.

Profile summary

* 4–7 years of experience as a technical writer or similar documentation-focused role

* Strong experience writing documentation for software platforms, APIs, and complex technical products

* Able to translate technical concepts (back-end services, APIs, messaging, integration flows) into clear, concise content

* Comfortable documenting REST APIs, data models, and integration guides for developers and technical stakeholders

* Experience creating and maintaining product documentation, how-to guides, release notes, and FAQs

* Strong information architecture skills: structuring docs, navigation, versioning, and re-use

* Hands-on with common documentation tools (Markdown, static site generators, Confluence, Notion, or similar)

* Ability to collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and support teams to gather information and validate accuracy

* Bonus: experience in fintech/payments, cross-border transfers, ISO 20022/SWIFT, or B2B SaaS products

Languages and location

* Fluent English is a must (written and spoken)

* Location: remote (with good overlap to EMEA/Middle East time zones preferred)
