Remote Project Engineer Europe

Job Description

Our client is a growing SME based in Belgium and Bosnia-Herzegovina and supply tooling equipment all over Europe, USA and Latin America. In collaboration with customers, they design and develop prototypes and after approval, produce the serial lots and assist customers up until the start of production.

As a Project Engineer, you will enjoy great responsibility, exchange with all other functions across the company and manage your projects directly with the customer. By drawing and delivering 3D & 2D packages, you design and develop prototypes in collaboration with the engineering teams of the customer. You handle all technical questions from the customer and the factory. After approval, you coordinate the manufacturing of the prototypes with the factory and monitor the testing of them. Depending on the type of prototypes, you will accompany and assist the customer on-site for plant testing. Youll report directly to the Director and for large projects you will work in teams with other engineers. Remuneration is market competitive.

Responsibilities

• Management of project directly with customer
  
• Deliver 3D & 2D drawings
  
• Assure project deadlines are met by Production Departments
  
• Project follow-up: manufacturing of prototypes, prototype testing, plant implementation
  
• Depending on your seniority, co-managing other Project Engineers can be a responsibility
  
  

Requirements

Must Have's:

1. Mechanical or Industrial engineer with at least 2-3 years of experience
   
2. Strong competences in 3D CAD drawing, using Solidworks or another drawing application
   
3. Fluent in technical English
   

Nice To Have's:

1. French and/or Dutch
2. Electrical and pneumatical knowledge
   
3. Prior experience in Project Management is strongly appreciated
