Blue Monkeys in Space πŸ™ˆ πŸ™‰ πŸ™Š is a fast-growing piercing jewelry e-retailer. We've been in the market for 15+ years operating under Bodymod.com, shipping worldwide.

We're looking for an enthusiastic collaborator to help us turning frowns into smiles and leaving customers with a memorable experience for all the right reasons β­β­β­β­β­


This role is open to global contractors/freelancers operating outside the EU. Candidates based in Romania are also highly welcome to apply, as local employment options may be considered. The target hours are around 8.00 to 17.00 CET.

A day on the job

  • Handling enquires from customers & providing the best outcome in each situation, with both the customer and business in mind 🧠

  • Provide resolutions at the first point of contact, avoiding transferring the problem or having customers contact us again

  • Acquiring detailed knowledge of product ranges and services to provide excellent service

  • Utilise, maintain & update internal systems & processes to ensure that processes are followed and without error

  • Becoming fully versed on our website, the contents, the layout & all steps of the ordering process, to better-understand customers’ issues


About you

  • You have excellent written and oral English skills

  • You communicate effectively with your manager, other team members, and/or other company staff across the business

  • You are highly detail-oriented and have a strong ability to learn quickly from feedback

  • You take onboard feedback to improve yourself and/or your work

  • You have the flexibility and adaptability to take on new areas of learning

  • You have the ability to simultaneously use multiple software

  • You have a stable, reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace that allows you to focus deeply


Some good-to-haves

  • Previous experience related to Customer support

  • Knowledge of Zendesk, Trello, and Slack is a plus
