Our client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Reasonable Accommodation Analyst/Sr. Analyst for their Cumberland, RI/Remote location.

The Reasonable Accommodations Partner plays a key role in supporting the Reasonable Accommodations team by managing the initial engagement with colleagues requesting accommodation.
This position is responsible for facilitating the intake process and overseeing a variety of tasks related to accommodation requests, including the review of supporting documentation and responding to inquiries.
Additional responsibilities may include leading and engaging in the interactive process with colleagues, applicants, leaders, and Human Resources when a colleague or applicant requests a workplace accommodation to perform the essential functions or to enjoy the benefits and privileges of employment due to a disability, pregnancy/pregnancy related condition, or sincerely held religious belief.
The Reasonable Accommodation Partner ensures compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA/ADAAA), applicable federal and state laws, and company policies as they relate to accommodation requests due to physical or mental impairments, pregnancy or pregnancy-related conditions, religious beliefs, and circumstances involving domestic violence.

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Required:
Candidates should not enter the process unless they are prepared to move forward with onboarding and begin work as scheduled. Frequent drop-offs during the background stage or shortly after start negatively impact delivery timelines and hiring team confidence.
Demonstrated direct, hands-on experience managing Reasonable Accommodation (RA) processes from an employer perspective
Experience limited to supporting roles or work within Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) is typically not sufficient
Understanding that TPA roles often do not involve active decision-making, which is critical for this position
Proven ability to independently evaluate and manage accommodation requests
Experience making accommodation determinations aligned with employer policies, compliance requirements, and business needs
Candidate will be working in a case management tool, so MUST be tech savy.
Candidate PPI - candidate must have private home working space set up and info on the computer should be accessible/viewable to anyone else but them - this will be tracked
Ability to handle sensitive conversations with colleagues regarding their Reasonable Accommodation request.
Maintain confidentiality.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must have multitasking skills to manage outbound calls while documenting information received and handling case tasks which may include sending letters to colleagues who have disengaged from the interactive process.
Use of a case management system for all steps in the process is required, so prior use of case management software is recommended.
Recommended experience in administering reasonable accommodation requests and an understanding of ADAAA preferred but not required.
Discretion in dealing with confidential information. HR related experience a plus.
