Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Contract Builder to support contract configuration work. This is a five-month engagement with onboarding targeted for completion by the end of June 2026, allowing sufficient time to process system access and complete other onboarding steps ahead of the July 1, 2026, effective date.  The Contract Builder will own the full expected reimbursement contract lifecycle, including translation of payer contract language, reimbursement analysis, build, and testing both pre- and post-live. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Epic Resolute HB contract configuration experience across multiple health systems and is able to onboard quickly and contribute independently within a defined-term engagement.  Experience supporting Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) is an added benefit.  


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Healthrise Core Values in all interactions with team members, clients, and stakeholders.  

Contract Translation and Analysis  

• Translate payer contract language and reimbursement terms into accurate Epic Resolute HB expected reimbursement contract build.  

• Analyze reimbursement methodologies, rate structures, and pricing logic to inform contract configuration decisions.  

• Identify discrepancies between contracted terms and system configuration and recommend corrective build.  

Contract Build and Configuration  

• Build, configure, and maintain expected reimbursement contracts across applicable lines of business, including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and managed care.  

• Configure pricing logic, fee schedules, and reimbursement calculations in accordance with payer agreements.  

• Apply Epic best practices to ensure contract build is accurate, maintainable, and aligned with downstream revenue cycle workflows.  

• Support Critical Access Hospital reimbursement considerations where applicable.  

Testing and Validation  

• Perform unit, regression, and end-to-end testing of contract build both before and after go-live.  

• Validate expected reimbursement output against contracted terms and troubleshoot variances.  

 • Document test results, issues, and resolutions to support change management and audit requirements. 

Production Support and Collaboration

• Provide production support and post-live stabilization for contract-related issues.  

• Collaborate with revenue cycle, finance, IT, and payer relations stakeholders to resolve reimbursement discrepancies.  

• Communicate build decisions, status, and risks clearly to both technical and operational audiences.  

• Travel to client or organizational sites as required to support build, testing, and go-live activities.  

• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Required:

• Epic certification in Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration. 

• Demonstrated hands-on experience building and maintaining Epic expected reimbursement contracts across Medicare, Medicaid, commercial, and managed care lines of business. 

• Strong contract configuration, reimbursement analysis, and testing experience, including pre- and post-live validation. 

• Experience working across multiple health systems. 

• Ability to translate complex payer contract language into accurate system build. 

• Ability to onboard quickly and work independently within a defined-term contract engagement. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical configuration to operational stakeholders. 

• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites as needed to support build, testing, and go-live activities. 

• Completion of regulatory/mandatory certifications as required. 

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Critical Access Hospitals (CAH). 

• Background spanning both Epic build and operational revenue cycle workflows. 

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements affecting reimbursement, including the No Surprises Act and price transparency. 

• Prior consulting or multi-client engagement experience in a contract or interim capacity.
