Instructional Designer (Short-Term Contract) | Rise eLearning Developer

Remote | Open to India-Based Candidates Only
Short-Term Contract (1 – 3 Months)
Full-Time Engagement (40 Hours/Week)
Working Hours: Primarily 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. IST with flexibility as needed

We're seeking Instructional Designers for short-term contract assignments supporting the development of engaging digital learning experiences for global clients. Contract durations may range from approximately 1 to 3 months depending on project needs.

This role is ideal for Instructional Designers who enjoy hands-on content development and are highly comfortable building courses in Articulate Rise. You'll work within established learning frameworks and collaborate with Learning Experience Architects and Senior Instructional Designers to create polished, learner-centered eLearning solutions.

Graphics support will be provided, allowing you to focus primarily on instructional design, storyboarding, and course development.

What You'll Do

Design and Develop eLearning Content

  • Create engaging eLearning courses using Articulate Rise

  • Apply instructional design principles to transform source content into effective learning experiences

  • Build knowledge checks, interactions, and assessments aligned to learning objectives

  • Ensure content meets SCORM and LMS compatibility requirements

  • Follow established templates, branding standards, and style guides

Create Storyboards and Learning Content

  • Develop clear, structured storyboards that guide course development

  • Translate source materials and stakeholder inputs into engaging learner experiences

  • Organize content into logical learning flows that support retention and application

  • Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately

Support Quality and Delivery Excellence

  • Conduct thorough self-review and quality assurance checks

  • Ensure courses function correctly across devices and learning platforms

  • Meet project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Proactively communicate risks, questions, and progress updates

Leverage AI and Modern Development Tools

  • Use GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms to support content development and productivity

  • Apply best practices when using AI-assisted workflows

  • Contribute ideas that improve efficiency and learner experience quality
