Job description

Crimson Logo

Want to revolutionise the future of education and do meaningful work that transforms future generations’ lives?

EdTech company Crimson Education was founded in 2013 from the idea that through personalised education, we can transform students into the world leaders of tomorrow. Since then, we have rapidly grown a mission-driven team that is dedicated to building the education system for the 22nd century. Our network includes 2,400 tutors and consultants worldwide who work with over 20,000 students.

Our tech platform connects tutors and mentors to high school students aiming to achieve admission to top universities in the US, UK, EU and beyond.

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented and commercially aware Sales Development Representative to support the UK & Europe sales process through a blend of lead follow-up, consultation support, programme preparation, client communication and sales administration.

It is best suited to someone who is calm, efficient, highly accurate and comfortable working behind the scenes to help the sales team move families smoothly through the sales process, and use this as a possible platform to move into a full sales consultant role in time.

The successful candidate will support prospective families from early lead engagement through to consultation preparation, programme creation, proposal documentation, invoicing follow-up and next-step coordination. They will play an important role in ensuring that families receive a polished, professional and timely experience from Crimson.

This role requires someone who can work quickly and accurately across systems such as Salesforce, Groove, Canva, PandaDoc and internal sales spreadsheets and channels. The ideal candidate will be able to produce high-quality appraisals, programme documents and proposal materials under time pressure, while maintaining Crimson’s tone, formatting standards and attention to detail.

The role will also include SDR outreach to leads, particularly event, webinar, school and MQL leads, to support consultation bookings and follow-up where required.

This is a full-time remote position.

The purpose of this role

The purpose of this role is to support Crimson’s sales team by helping move prospective families through the sales journey in a professional, organised and efficient way.

This includes:

  • Supporting lead outreach and follow-up for MQL, webinar, event and school partnership leads

  • Assisting with consultation preparation and post-consultation follow-up

  • Creating student appraisals, programme summaries and sales documents in Canva, PandaDoc and other tools

  • Supporting invoicing, contract preparation and administrative next steps

  • Helping Sales Consultants and Academic Advisors deliver a polished and consistent client experience

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and ensuring lead movement is properly tracked

  • Providing families with relevant information, resources and reminders during the sales process

  • Helping ensure that no lead, follow-up task, proposal or documentation requirement falls through the cracks

It is best suited to someone who enjoys being a highly reliable sales support partner: organised, fast, accurate, calm under pressure and excellent at helping the team execute, and who is looking to learn the business with a view to a full sales role.

The right person will take pride in producing polished documents, keeping processes moving, following up carefully and making the sales journey easier for both families and the internal team.

Main responsibilities

Lead engagement and SDR support

  • Call, email and message MQL, webinar, event and school leads to support timely follow-up and progression towards consultation

  • Respond to prospective family enquiries in a professional, warm and timely way

  • Support consultation booking by following up with leads, confirming details and helping families understand next steps

  • Provide relevant resources to families where appropriate, including webinar links, case studies, admissions guides and programme information

  • Support event and campaign follow-up by helping segment leads, identify next actions and track engagement

  • Maintain a professional early point of contact for families who are not yet ready for a full sales conversation

Sales process and consultation support

  • Support Sales Consultants and Academic Advisors with preparation before consultations, including student context, lead notes, relevant campaign information and prior communication history

  • Create and format student appraisals, programme proposals, tailored recommendations and supporting documents

  • Prepare high-quality Canva and PandaDoc materials quickly and accurately, using approved templates and guidance

  • Support the preparation of post-consultation follow-up materials, ensuring they are clear, polished and aligned with the family’s goals

  • Help ensure each family receives the right documents, links, resources and next-step instructions after consultation

  • Follow up on missing information required to complete appraisals, proposals, contracts or invoices

Administration, documentation and systems

  • Maintain accurate Salesforce records, including lead notes, consultation status, next actions, family requirements and follow-up tasks

  • Support invoice creation, payment follow-up and administrative coordination where required

  • Help manage the movement of leads through the sales funnel by ensuring tasks, documentation and next steps are completed on time

  • Track which families have received appraisals, proposals, contracts, invoices and follow-up resources

  • Work across platforms including Salesforce, Groove, Canva, PandaDoc, Google Workspace and internal Crimson systems

  • Maintain strong attention to detail across spelling, formatting, pricing, student information, dates and programme details

Sales enablement and team support

  • Help Sales Consultants stay organised by supporting follow-up requirements, campaign tracking and documentation requirements

  • Support the creation and maintenance of reusable sales assets, templates, FAQs and follow-up materials

  • Identify common client questions or process bottlenecks and suggest ways to improve communication or documentation

  • Help ensure that Crimson’s tone, formatting and client-facing materials remain polished and consistent

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Admissions and Operations teams to ensure families experience a smooth and professional journey

Skills, experience and qualities required

  • Excellent organisation skills and very strong attention to detail

  • Strong written and spoken English

  • Ability to work quickly and accurately across multiple tasks and deadlines

  • Experience using Canva, PandaDoc, Salesforce, Groove, Google Workspace and similar tools, or able to learn quickly

  • Strong commercial acumen and sales mindset

  • Strong administrative ability, including document preparation, CRM updates, invoice support and follow-up tracking

  • Professional, warm and confident communication style with parents, students and internal teams

  • Strong phone manner and ability to build rapport with families when supporting lead outreach

  • Ability to follow templates while also applying judgement and accuracy

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment without needing to be the primary salesperson

  • Able to manage repetitive process tasks while maintaining quality and care

  • Strong judgement around confidentiality, family information, pricing and client communication

  • Interest in education, university admissions and helping families make important decisions

  • Calm, practical, reliable and solutions-focused

  • Able to support sales outcomes without needing to own the full sales conversation

Preferred experience

  • Experience in sales support, admissions support, education administration, client services, customer success, operations or sales coordination

  • Experience preparing proposals, appraisals, reports, client-facing documents or contracts

  • Experience with Canva, PandaDoc, Salesforce or similar CRM/proposal tools

  • Experience working with parents, students or high-consideration client services

  • Familiarity with UK, US or international university admissions is helpful, but not essential

  • Prior experience in an education, tutoring, EdTech, school or admissions environment is advantageous

What success looks like

  • Leads are followed up appropriately and do not fall through the cracks

  • Campaign, webinar and event leads receive timely outreach and next-step guidance

  • Sales Consultants and Academic Advisors receive strong, reliable support before and after consultations

  • Student appraisals, programme proposals and PandaDoc documents are produced quickly, accurately and professionally

  • Families receive clear, timely and polished follow-up after key sales interactions

  • Salesforce records are accurate, up to date and useful

  • Invoicing and documentation steps are completed efficiently and with minimal errors

  • Sales teams see this person as a trusted operational partner who helps them move faster and deliver a better client experience

  • The overall sales process feels smoother, more consistent and more professional for families

  • Be part of a mission-driven company helping students reach the world’s top universities

  • Remote working opportunity

  • Ongoing training and mentorship

  • Exposure to a fast-growing global EdTech company

  • Work closely with experienced Sales, Admissions, Marketing and Operations teams

  • $1,000 training budget per year

  • Fireside chats and workshops to help the team continuously level up

  • Radical Candour is a feedback approach we live by

  • We’re a global player with 28+ markets across the globe
