Job Summary

Environmental Services Aide II (Part-Time)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (24 hours/week)

Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Aide II, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position helps prevent the spread of infection through thorough cleaning, proper waste disposal, and adherence to hospital and infection prevention standards.

Essential Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect patient care and non-patient care areas in accordance with hospital policies, established schedules, and infection prevention guidelines.
Maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, sanitary, and organized condition at all times.
Collect, transport, and properly dispose of waste, including regulated medical waste, following established safety procedures.
Clean and service assigned departments using approved cleaning methods and products.
Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed to support daily hospital operations and cleaning activities.
Operate environmental services equipment, including floor machines, buffers, and other cleaning equipment, safely and effectively.
Follow all safety, infection control, and departmental policies and procedures.
Participate in a minimum of eight departmental or unit meetings annually.
Work collaboratively with team members and hospital staff to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and patient satisfaction.

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday
3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
