Job description
Our Client, an Internet Content and Information company, is looking for an Algorithm Developer II for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
The team aims at driving innovation towards superintelligence from the perspective of data curation algorithms for perception, better modeling of spatial and temporal knowledge, and more efficient research tools. We work on research in various modalities (e.g., CV, NLP, embodied AI) and build large scale foundation data and models with high quality and diversity.
In this role, you will be embedded into the team and other FAIR collaborators to convert ideas into implementation and solutions.
You will build new algorithms, new functionalities, and new architectures in our research platforms. You will participate in the team publication effort to turn works into broad research outcomes and push the research frontier in superintelligence.
Requirements:
Research assistant/engineer
2-4 years of experience in LLMs, foundation models, data research who can conduct independent implementation and engineering works.
Supporting researchers and FTEs to implement advanced research systems and technologies on cloud, in the domain of AI and machine perception
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams in FAIR in computer vision and machine learning
Play a crucial role in the definition and execution of system implementation roadmaps
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, LLMs, Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
One or more years of experience in C/C++, Python or Rust
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, NLP, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or a related technical field
Experience developing computer vision algorithms or computer vision infrastructure in C/C++, Python or Rust
Experience in deep learning and PyTorch: basic level of understanding
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with distributed systems algorithm development
Industry experience working on projects such as: image/video generation
MSc or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning or related technical field
