Account Manager, Influencer Relations

The Account Manager, Influencer Relations will be responsible for managing influencer relationships, executing healthcare influencer marketing campaigns, and ensuring seamless communication between clients, influencers, and cross-functional teams. This role requires a highly organized individual who can juggle multiple projects, manage client expectations, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver on high-impact campaigns. The Account Manager will play a vital role in driving campaign success, fostering strong relationships, and supporting both strategic and executional aspects of the business. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  

Client Relationship Management & Strategic Oversight

  • Cultivate and manage strong, long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and overall campaign success.
  • Coordinate and lead client touch-base meetings to maintain alignment on campaign milestones, deliverables, and performance.
  • Participate in strategic discussions with cross-functional teams to optimize influencer selection, messaging approaches, and campaign performance based on analytics and evolving client needs.

Influencer Identification, Contracting & Database Management

  • Assist in identifying the most relevant influencers for each campaign, leveraging clinical expertise, audience demographics, and platform performance to ensure impactful content.
  • Oversee influencer contracts from initiation through completion, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and proper documentation within Medfluencers proprietary database.
  • Support contract execution and renegotiations while ensuring all agreements, updates, and relevant data are accurately logged in the CRM.
  • Track and manage all campaign-related contracts and agreements—including SOWs, NDAs (client and influencer), brand deal agreements, and usage rights documentation.

Content Oversight, Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee and review all content delivered by HCP influencers for alignment with client briefs, campaign messaging, and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all influencer content undergoes full compliance review, including: Medical Accuracy using PULSE tools, MLR/PRC regulatory review via our partner ProPharma, and FTC advertising compliance
  • Monitor all applicable campaigns for AE/SAE compliance in accordance with Medfluencers and/or client pharmacovigilance protocols.

Campaign Execution & Cross-Functional Communication

  • Coordinate campaign progress and maintain proactive, transparent communication with clients and influencers throughout each campaign lifecycle.
  • Provide weekly updates to clients including content status, upcoming deliverables, risks, and high-level performance highlights.
  • Collaborate with the Creative, Operations, and Strategy teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely deliverable execution. 

Performance Tracking, Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, assess effectiveness, and recommend optimizations for future campaigns.
  • Report on key success metrics, audience engagement patterns, and content performance insights to drive continuous improvement.

Financial Coordination & Operational Administration

  • Ensure accurate tracking and communication of influencer payment schedules to the finance team, and VP, Digital Opinion Leader Services to maintain accurate financial reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of influencer payments with the finance team.
  • Support invoice tracking and maintain organized documentation for all financial obligations related to assigned campaigns.

     
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in influencer relations, communications, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Previous experience working with healthcare or medical influencers is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Monday.com) and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Familiarity with podcast production, email marketing, and PR outreach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple client expectations simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working within a remote setting and across EST business hours, with occasional extended hours for special events or deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while driving individual initiative and success.
