About Our Family

We're a warm, active family of four living in Cambridge. Both parents are entrepreneurs who work from home with flexible schedules, and our two children are entering 6th grade and 1st grade this fall. They're involved in sports and extracurricular activities, and keep our afternoons busy. We also have two friendly pups who are very much part of the family.

Our home is busy but grounded. We value open communication, kindness, and a collaborative approach to family life. We appreciate organization, thoughtful routines, and a home that feels cared for. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys creating order, notices the little things, and takes pride in keeping a household running smoothly.

This is a household where you'll be trusted, respected, and treated as a true partner. We communicate openly, welcome ideas and initiative, and genuinely appreciate someone who becomes an integrated part of our family's day-to-day life. We are committed to finding the right long-term fit and hope to build a relationship that feels supportive, collaborative, and rewarding for everyone involved.

Throughout the year, our family splits time between Cambridge and our home in Charleston, South Carolina, where we spend much of the summer. We're excited to welcome someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and becoming an important part of our family's rhythm in both places.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You genuinely enjoy creating order and bringing calm to a busy household. You notice the little things, take pride in a well-maintained home, and find satisfaction in organizing spaces, managing details, and helping daily life run smoothly. You're naturally proactive and don't wait to be told what needs attention. Instead, you take initiative, think a few steps ahead, and enjoy developing systems that make a household more efficient and enjoyable to live in.

You balance a high level of organization with warmth and flexibility. While much of this role focuses on household management, you're equally comfortable stepping in to support children when needed. You're patient, kind, and an excellent communicator who believes in building relationships through conversation, respect, and understanding. You set clear boundaries while helping children understand the 'why' behind expectations, and you approach challenges with empathy rather than authority.

You're comfortable around dogs, enjoy a blend of household management and family support responsibilities, and are excited about building a long-term relationship with a family. You're adaptable, dependable, and open to occasional travel, including spending part of the summer with us in Charleston, South Carolina.
