SUMMARY: The Operations Finance Data & Reporting Analyst I will prepare analyses and metrics for reporting both internally to management. Enhance business tools to create automation in process. Work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment using creative techniques to solve problems and address challenges raised by project teams, clients, and management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tasks may include but are not limited to:

  • Perform Project setup and maintenance activities

  • Assist with maintaining corporate data standards for the Project Finance team

  • Support ERP system data integrity:

    • Work with different budget standards to ensure data consistency

    • Assist with data migration into ERP system

    • Reconcile data feeds across ERO systems

    • Daily review staging tables for exceptions and collaborate with respective teams to resolve system errors

    • Perform manual data inputs regarding customers, projects, and employees

    • Assist with maintaining resource assignments

    • Timekeeping administration

  • Analyze operational project data as it pertains to relevant financial metrics

  • Provide reporting out of ERP system internally

  • Ad hoc support for projects and report revenue

  • Manage the timekeeping process in ERP system and ensure all time submitted is approved in a timely manner including follow-up with resources and managers

  • Support preparation of monthly Invoices/Billing events:

    • Creation of Billing events

    • Preparation of support package for Billing

  • Prepare ad hoc analyses as requested by management

  • Assist with audit related tasks

  • Assist with special projects.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Managerial Requirements / Responsibilities: Position will not have management.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI a plus).

  • Experience working in various General Ledger and/or PSA applications (NetSuite and Certinia a plus).

  • Ability to organize and present data in a meaningful way.

  • Enhanced communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with cross-functional teams.

  • Skilled in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Proven ability to handle & meet deadlines and juggle competing obligations.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees in a matrixed environment.

  • Good business judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions or recommendations.

  • Interest in working in a high growth company with desire to innovate and improve

  • process efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Ability to deal effectively with individuals at all organizational levels and with diverse backgrounds and skill sets.

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.

  • Required Skills:

    • Physical Demands (US Only)

    • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting and standing.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field.

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in operational/project finance role.

  • Experience in process automation is preferred.

  • Background in Clinical Research is preferred.

  • Experience in accounting is preferred.

Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently.
