Our client is a fast-growing, agile international consulting firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. They've been focusing on optimizing processes centricity and technology. One of the many areas they are focusing on is to design and implement next generation activities- reformulating operating models, optimising processes and installing automation.

As a GBS Consultant, you will be responsible for driving enterprise-wide transformation programs. This role requires hands-on experience across the entire lifecycle from initial assessment and solution design to final implementation within Global Business Services and Shared Services frameworks. The ideal candidate will blend deep IT functional expertise with strong project delivery to analyze IT landscapes, optimize operating models, and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Your tasks will include:

  • Support full-lifecycle IT transformations, including feasibility assessments, application/process migrations, knowledge transfer, and operational stabilization.
  • Contribute to the architecture and deployment of standardized IT operating models within Global Business Services (GBS) and Shared Services environments.
  • Manage project timelines, track dependencies, mitigate technical risks, and maintain robust documentation across transformation workstreams.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, HR, and Procurement teams to facilitate client workshops, manage communications, and secure stakeholder alignment.
  • Map enterprise systems and service workflows to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous service improvements

To be a good fit for the GBS Consultant role, you will have:
