Summary:

The Business Solutions Analyst II is responsible for managing moderately complex projects and supporting long-term operational initiatives. This role involves executing tasks, improving processes, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and objectives. The Analyst II exercises independent judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills to address challenges, interpret policies, and drive departmental success.

Responsibilities:

Essential Job Functions:

  • Quality Management Systems
    • Lead the implementation, sustainment, and improvement of various ISO standards and CMMI appraisals for Goldbelt and its subsidiary companies
    • Lead the specific ISO 9001:2015 and ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 standard for the EBS department
    • Lead the consolidated ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard for all Goldbelt subsidiaries
  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Run and maintain recurring and ad‑hoc reports, ensuring accuracy, making necessary adjustments, and delivering reliable insights that support stakeholder decision‑making
    • Compile and analyze metrics to support compliance with ISO, CMMI, and other organizational requirements
    • Ensure adherence to established standards by monitoring data integrity controls and escalating systemic issues for process refinement
  • Operational Support
    • Perform data analysis and conduct audits to identify discrepancies, drive improvements, and ensure compliance with government contracting standards, applying data integrity controls and standard taxonomy while exercising discretion in determining appropriate corrective actions
    • Provide support tracking and managing the full lifecycle of contracts and programs, including initial entry, amendments, renewals, and completions, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected in the database and providing contract related guidance and expertise where applicable
    • Provide support for contract and program data management, including entering data, uploading documents, reviewing entries and addressing common issues
    • Support enterprise level initiatives and manage business solutions processes as applicable
    • Analyze operational issues, identify trends, and recommend standard solutions for improvement based on interpretation of established procedures
  • System Analysis and Process Optimization
    • Evaluate current quality, contract, and program management systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and usability
    • Support testing and validation of new system functionality, documenting results and ensuring changes meet user needs
    • Develop and refine processes, procedures, and templates to improve operational efficiency and consistency in collaboration with senior analysts and system owners
Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in program data management and compliance reporting
  • Ability to manage projects of moderate complexity and contribute to long-term initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment
  • Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Possesses attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates
  • Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences
  • Basic understanding of relevant software, tools, and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in program, project, or contract management
  • Demonstrated experience managing program data, tracking deliverables, and improving operational processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO standards or CMMI processes is preferred
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
  • Previous government contracting experience

 

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $112,700 to $137,750.00 annually.
