Job description

Clinical Director (BCBA)

Preferred Location: California (Remote)
Primary Centers Supported: Victorville, CA & Indian Wells, CA
Future Support Regions: California, Idaho, Nebraska/Iowa, and Texas (as needed)

Total First-Year Earnings Potential: Up to $109,000

  • Base salary up to $100,000
  • $9,000 annual performance bonus (paid monthly)

About the Role

Accel Therapies is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Telehealth Clinical Director (BCBA) to provide clinical leadership and oversight across multiple center-based ABA programs. This role will initially support our Victorville, CA and Indian Wells, CA centers remotely, with the opportunity to expand support to additional regions in California, Idaho, Nebraska/Iowa, and Texas as our organization grows.

This position blends clinical excellence, leadership development, and strategic operational partnership. As a Telehealth Clinical Director, you will mentor Clinical Supervisors, ensure high-quality clinical outcomes, support program integrity, and help drive best practices across multiple locations.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide remote leadership, mentorship, and supervision for Clinical Supervisors (Pod Leaders)
  • Support the client experience from intake through ongoing treatment across assigned centers
  • Conduct and review Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
  • Ensure clinical excellence through quality assurance reviews, data analysis, and treatment oversight
  • Monitor treatment planning, progress monitoring, and program integrity
  • Maintain 30 billable hours per week providing QA oversight and clinical support to BCBAs without carrying a direct client caseload
  • Support performance management, coaching, and professional development of BCBAs and Program Supervisors
  • Partner with Operations leadership to strategically manage caseload distribution and staffing needs
  • Contribute to organizational growth initiatives, clinical standardization, and expansion into new markets
  • Foster collaboration and consistency across multiple centers through virtual leadership and communication

What You Bring

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in ABA, Psychology, or a related field
  • Current BCBA certification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a BCBA, including at least 1 year of experience leading, mentoring, or supervising BCBAs and other clinical staff
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams
  • Comfort using technology (e.g., scheduling software, electronic data platforms)
  • TB test, immunization records, and background check clearance
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus
