Job description

What You'll Do:

In our Institutional Trust and Custody Customer Care team, the role of Relationship Manager – Principal Custody Solutions develops lasting relationships with advisors, plan sponsors, finance contacts, trustees, and third-party administrators that are in our institutional space. This role is the strategic partner to our clients to provide scalable solutions that meet business goals of retention and growth. 

 

 Here are few examples of the kinds of things you’ll do: 

  • Collaborate with the plan sponsor and the consultant on plan goals, investments, plan operations/financial reporting. 
  • Identify opportunities to expand your client relationships by identifying additional products/services to help our clients achieve their goals. 
  • Relationship plan reviews for your book of business highlighting best practices and technology solutions. 
  • Building and cultivating relationships with key decision makers and C-Suite executives. 
  • Highly responsive to client inquiries and problem solving. 
  • Leading client projects with successful implementation.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelors degree or 8 years of equivalent experience and 6+ years of experience in both DB and DC products. 
  • Deep Trust and Custody experience strongly preferred for both retirement and non-retirement assets.
  • Post-graduate study resulting in an MA, MS or MBA degree, preferred. 
  • Relationship management experience required, and sales related experience preferred. 
  • Must possess excellent leadership, negotiation, organizational, problem solving, persuasive oral/written communication, experience in working with committees and strong presentation skills. 
  • Demonstrate experience building client relationships at all levels but especially at the key decision maker (KDM) level.  Building and delivering a strategy for your client base. 
  • Expertise in working with client base in a virtual environment. 
  • Effectively dealing with ambiguity and managing change. 
  • Proven experience selling or influencing multiple decision makers.  
Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $104400 - $187200 / year Salary Details:

The following locations are examples of market-specific salary ranges across different geographies. 

  • Grand Island, NE: $104,400 - $140,400 / year
  • Des Moines, IA: $110,200 - $148,200 / year
  • Dallas, TX: $116,000 - $156,000 / year
  • Minneapolis, MN: $127,600 - $171,600 / year
  • New York, NY: $139,200 - 187,200 / year
Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible: Yes Additional Information:
