Scientific Communications Project Manager - Publication Manager

About this role

TFS HealthScience is a leading global mid-size Contract Research Organization (CRO) that partners with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies throughout their entire clinical development journey. Our expertise includes full-service capabilities, resourcing, and Functional Service (FSP) solutions.

The Scientific Comms Project Manager will provide support on the development and successful delivery of scientific/medical assets, as well as planning the asset workflow and asset workload, in collaboration with the agency of record and the internal stakeholders relevant to the asset's creation and review.

Key Responsibilities

- Management and execution of tactical plans as well as operational support for the creation and review of scientific/medical assets

- Information tactics, planning, and coordination with agencies, tracking and managing timelines and progress, following up with internal/external stakeholders/agencies, and budget monitoring.

- Development of process guidelines, workflows, diagrams, metrics and reports to create insights on the scientific/medical asset creation and review process.

- Act as a trainer and point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure the correct usage of platforms, guidelines and processes.

- Keep up to date on company innovation strategies and help local implementation, if appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science related careers (pharmacy, biology, chemistry, among others).

• Master’s degree in a Scientific Field with on top education in the area of Operations Management, Process Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Information Management or equivalent, would be highly valued.

• Solid project management skills. Good communication, coordination and time management skills.

• Fluent in oral and written English.

• At least three years’ experience in scientific/medical asset creation in Pharma/Biotech.

• At least three years of proven success in Medical-/ Scientific Operations Management preferably in a Big Pharma, or Creative agency working with Big Pharma.

• Strong ability to build meaningful and trusted relationships with other.

• Practical experience negotiating solutions and resolving conflict.
