Job description

About the role:

Abnormal AI's Field Operations team serves as the operational engine behind our sales organization, partnering directly with sales leadership to drive execution, accountability, and scale.

As a Sr. Field Operations Manager, you'll own the operational rhythm of a segment of the Mid-Market business, acting as a strategic partner and force multiplier for the Sales Leaders you support.  You'll sit at the intersection of data, process, and people translating complex business signals into clear direction and building the systems that keep the team moving.

This role is high-visibility and high-impact: the work you do directly shapes pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and the day-to-day effectiveness of the sales team.

What you will do:

  • Serve as the operational backbone of the Mid-Market business—owning day-to-day execution while acting as a strategic partner to the Sales Leaders
  • Partner with Regional Directors and AVPs to strengthen forecasting, track team performance and productivity, and support ad-hoc reporting needs
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies and translate them into actionable improvement initiatives
  • Build and maintain sales KPIs; drive the rhythm of the business through weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting
  • Manage pipeline reviews, weekly forecasting, QBRs, and business intelligence workstreams; surface Salesforce feedback to improve scalability and reporting accuracy
  • Own operational workstreams end-to-end, building and running AI-powered workflows that improve speed, accuracy, and scale across the business
  • Support territory planning, account segmentation, and equitable AE territory design in partnership with sales leadership
  • Enforce Salesforce data hygiene standards—ensuring account ownership, opportunity accuracy, and field-level consistency across the Mid-Market book of business
  • Deliver sales operational training across Salesforce best practices, CPQ, ZoomInfo, Sales Navigator, and Outreach
  • Serve as the cross-functional SME for escalations across quoting, pricing, deal management, tooling and sales process
  • Champion the sales team cross-functionally partnering with Marketing, Finance Sales Ops, and IT to drive scalability and efficiency

About You

  • You're analytical and process-oriented—you love digging into data and building systems that drive results.
  • You share knowledge generously and take pride in helping others succeed.
  • You're an independent thinker who asks hard questions and isn't afraid to call out gaps in tools or processes.
  • You take ownership; You are willing to step outside of your role or comfort zone to ensure the success of the business; No task is too big or too small
  • You thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift and change is constant.
  • You think at scale—building systems, processes, and tools with global growth in mind.
  • You can zoom out to spot trends and opportunities, then zoom in to deliver tactical recommendations.
  • You're a team player who's committed to the mission and brings energy to the work.

Must Haves:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Sales Operations, Sales Support, or Analyst role preferably in SaaS or Cybersecurity.
  • Must have knowledge and experience with complex dashboards & reports, custom report types, calculated fields, and an understanding of workflows
  • The ability to own and manage projects in alignment with business needs.
  • Exceptional quantitative and MS Excel/Google Sheets skills (i.e. sumifs, index/match and vlookup, table formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Background with Sales Systems, specifically Salesforce.com, but also Salesforce CPQ, ZoomInfo, Maps, Clearbit, UserGems, Sales Navigator, People.ai.
  • Strength in researching, understanding, distilling and communicating complex business issues, ideas and analyzing business impact
