Regulatory Analyst

Pay Rate: $65/hr - $75/hr

Work Mode: Remote

Summary:

• The ITS Regulatory Team ensures technology and clinical workflows align with government programs to maximize health outcomes and revenue.
• The role is highly visible among senior and executive leadership.
• Requires excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Expected to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Support the ITS Regulatory Team's initiatives across assigned programs.
• Provide regulatory subject matter expertise and act as an internal consultant.
• Manage large multi-disciplinary regulatory projects.
• Analyze workflows and understand policies, procedures, and constraints related to regulatory requirements.
• Conduct investigations and document operational and report specifications.
• Analyze new application releases to determine regulatory build and reporting needs.
• Evaluate new applications and make recommendations to management.
• Act as a mentor to new and less experienced application analysts.
• Track, read, and analyze new rulemaking and annual updates to existing regulations.
• Maintain Epic certifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Epic certification required (inpatient or ambulatory).
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting required, preferably in an academic medical center environment.
• Minimum 5 years of information systems experience as a senior clinical/business analyst or project manager required.
• Strong software and application knowledge required.
