Job description

About IKS Health  www.ikshealth .com

We are committed to the core principles that have driven our success to date. Our highly trained staff, supported by industry-leading technology, deliver cost-effective solutions that enhance the clinical and financial performance of the healthcare organizations we serve. Technologies will come and go,processes and regulations will evolve, but in the end, service is delivered by people. Every day brings you new opportunities to stretch your coding skills, share your expertise, and promote higher quality documentation, all in support of better patient care.

Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities

Operational Diagnosis: Move beyond high-level observations to identify root causes of operational friction (e.g., physician utilization gaps, coding-to-revenue lags) using structured, data-driven frameworks.

Execution & Tactical Planning: Translate organizational objectives into detailed project workplans, including clear sequencing, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

PMO Leadership: Lead high-stakes transformational initiatives. You must be able to go "two layers deep" into any problem to ensure execution matches the intended strategy.

Account Recovery (Go-To-Green): Own the "Go-To-Green" (GTG) process for at-risk clients. Establish a rigorous cadence for monitoring metrics and intervening with actionable recovery plans.

Collaborative Architecture: Partner with cross-functional teams to build scalable solutions that improve efficiency, ensuring these solutions are "sticky" and well-integrated into daily operations.

Stakeholder Influence: Navigate complex people dynamics—particularly with physicians and senior leadership—to negotiate and drive change management.

Key Measurements of Success

Operational Metric Delta: Quantifiable improvement in KPIs (e.g., revenue capture, physician productivity).

Portfolio Health: Successful conversion of "At-Risk" or "Red" accounts to "Green" status within defined timelines.

Execution Rigor: Accuracy of project timelines and the successful delivery of defined workstream outcomes.

Functional Competencies (What we are looking for)

Quantitative Sharpness: Ability to "speak in numbers" and prioritize analysis based on financial or operational impact.

Structured Problem Solving: Evidence of using frameworks (MECE, Fishbone, etc.) to diagnose problems rather than jumping to generic answers.

Healthcare Intuition: A deep understanding of healthcare delivery, RCM metrics, and the nuances of physician group operations.

Desired Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Seven (7) plus years of experience in business analysis, investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy, in the healthcare sector.

Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and data analytics.

Understanding of the healthcare industry, including payer-provider dynamics, regulations, and emerging trends.

Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Proficiency in Google Suite, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and data visualization tools

Compensation and Benefits: The base salary range for this position is $130-$175k.  Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to current market conditions, location, education, work experience, certifications, etc.   IKS Health offers a competitive benefits package, including healthcare, 401 (k), and paid time off (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements for full-time employees).   IKS Health is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status.
