Job description

A Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company. They will be involved in developing and implementing sales strategies, researching market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs.

Essential Duties
  • Ongoing identification, development, and assessment of medium/large new logo business opportunities and partnerships, including cross-tower deals with key accounts. The “BDE” is responsible for developing extensive executive and senior management relationships within “new logo” client organizations which leads to being viewed as a "trusted advisor" or “strategic partner”.
  • Drive and mature new opportunities, including relationship management and requirements gathering, from Identified to Qualified on select medium-large deals.
  • Continued relationship and Client management through the remaining sales cycles of Qualified opportunities, however collaborating with a Sr. Account Executive to run the Opportunity.
  • Work with Technology/Architecture, Offerings and Delivery to brainstorm, build, and test complex and material solutions/offerings that would cater towards the ICP below and larger opportunities by Industry.

  • Required Skills
  • Previous Microsoft sales experience preferred and knowledge around Office 365, EMS, Azure, etc.
  • Previous experience positioning and closing professional services opportunities
  • Previous experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a sales or account management role (5 years)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry even

  • Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Closed at least 5 seven-figure contracts with new accounts
  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to negotiate contracts, deliverables, and price
  • Previous experience using a customer relationship management software
  • Experience in having high-level conversations with C-level executives
  • Understanding of cloud computing and the business benefits that it provides
  • The ability to present complex technology in a way non-technical people can understand
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Experience with information technology and services preferred
