Job description

SWIVEL is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director for our EFUNDS for Schools product. This role is pivotal in driving new business, increasing revenue, and fostering strong relationships with school districts. The successful candidate will be based in San Antonio, Texas, and will manage the West Coast territory. While this role does not involve direct people management, it offers the opportunity to expand into other community-based business lines in the future.

Essential duties include the following:

  • Identifies and pursues new business opportunities within the education sector, focusing on school districts across the West Coast.
  • Develops and implements strategies to increase revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders in school districts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Explores and drives business growth in other community-based business lines as the product and role evolves.
  • Creates and executes comprehensive sales plans to meet and exceed business objectives.
  • Monitors sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Works closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years sales, integrated partner, and marketing experience.
  • Proven track record in sales, particularly within the education sector, the payments sector, or similar industries.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Must be based in San Antonio, Texas, with the ability to travel within the West Coast territory as needed.
