Overview

The Strategic Advisor is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed to amplify the executive's effectiveness. This role serves as a primary liaison, project lead, and strategic thought partner, ensuring that executive vision is translated into operational reality. As a deep operational partner, the advisor identifies and removes friction points across the organization. The position drives cross-functional synchronization and manages the connective tissue between various business units and the executive suite. • Lead critical business projects and cross-functional initiatives that do not yet have a permanent home within the existing organizational structure.

  • Monitor core operational and financial metrics to provide the Chief Executive with actionable insights regarding business performance and efficiency gaps.

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Chief Executive and department heads to ensure operational alignment and eliminate organizational silos.

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in cross-departmental workflows before they require the Chief Executive’s direct intervention.

  • Facilitate operational leadership meetings, ensuring agendas focus on high-leverage topics and that action items are executed with rigor.

  • Prepare comprehensive executive briefings, presentations, and decision frameworks for Board and Executive Committee sessions.

  • Draft internal operational communications and operational updates to ensure the Chief Executive’s strategic priorities are clearly understood across the workforce.

  • Conduct deep-dive market and internal research to support complex decisions regarding scaling, outsourcing, or technology investments.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, or a high-growth corporate strategy role.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to take massive amounts of disparate data and distill it into a coherent narrative for executive decision-making.

  • Exceptional ability to navigate company politics and build trust with diverse stakeholders without having formal authority over them.

  • Success is measured by the success of the COO and the seamless functioning of the organization.
