Senior Legal Technologist

£ Excellent Salary + Benefits - Multiple Locations Available

 

James Carrera of Digital Data Foundation has been retained to source a Senior Legal Technologist to lead in the design, development, configuration, development of LegalTech products & solutions, for a highly ambitious & very well respected legal firm.

Responsibilities

Deliver, promote and champion Legal transformation within the firm and directly with high profile clients, advancing new ideas, products and development of legal tech solutions,

  • Manage the Legal Tech programme - assisting with introduction, design, implementation, support and embedding of new and existing technologies.
  • Run workshops using design thinking or similar innovation techniques to identify requirements, needs and pain points for new legal products and services and improving legal processes by employing legal technology.
  • Lead on designing, configuring, pricing and/or developing prototypes, running proof of concepts and undertaking final builds of legal technology, services and solutions.
  • Develop a deep expertise in the tech tech stack and related technologies.
  • Line manage junior legal technologists and encourage and support their development.
  • Design, configure and implement no /low code legal technology prototypes and products.
  • Vendor management; demos, design, trials, pilots, proofs of concept and final roll out.
  • Provide leadership and insights on legal technology, technology trends and solutions.
  • Undertake stakeholder and client engagement.
  • Map and design appropriate solutions, integration and implementation of legal technology
  • Assisting partners in bids for and delivery of work


Experience

A legal professional with practical experience of legal processes and a deep understanding of LegalTech, solution architecture within the legal sector and digital technology;

  • Passionate ambassador of innovation, development and legal technology
  • Extensive project & programme management
  • Document extraction, process automation, AI powered document review, RPA
  • Data Storage, transfer and extraction tools and eDiscovery
  • Relativity, DocuSign, HighQ and Kira
