With over 250 people based in Australia, Plenti is of a size where everyone can make a difference in their role and help us realise our very big ambitions as a team, as we go about building Australia’s best lender.

Plenti is a founder led business that launched in 2014, listed on the ASX since 2020 with annual revenue of over $250 million and a loan portfolio of over $3 billion.

About the role:
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll drive growth across Victoria by expanding Plenti’s broker network and increasing utilisation across our consumer lending products. Key responsibilities:

  • Identify, onboard, and grow new broker accounts across Victoria, building a strong and sustainable pipeline
  • Develop and execute territory and sales strategies to drive growth, increase market share, and maximise portfolio performance
  • Build and strengthen relationships with brokers and aggregator partners to drive engagement, utilisation, and share of wallet
  • Promote Plenti’s Personal Loan and Automotive products, ensuring strong brand presence in market
  • Deliver training, coaching, and ongoing support to brokers to improve product knowledge, conversion, and performance
  • Monitor broker performance, analyse trends, and implement strategies to optimise volume, quality, and outcomes
  • Stay across market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and inform strategy
  • Represent Plenti at industry events and act as a key brand ambassador
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless broker and customer experience
  • Take full ownership of your territory, operating autonomously while contributing to broader team success

About you:
You’re a commercially astute, relationship-led BDM with a proven ability to win new business and build enduring partnerships. You bring strong market insight, resilience, and the drive to consistently deliver results within the broker landscape.

  • 3+ years’ experience in Business Development within financial services
  • Experience working with brokers, aggregators, or third-party distribution channels
  • Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Established network within the broker or aggregator space (highly regarded)
  • Solid understanding of lending products and credit assessment
  • Confident communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills
