Play Force specialises in customised playground inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and enjoyment for all users. Their thorough assessments adhere to Australian standards, promptly providing detailed maintenance recommendations. With proactive routine inspections and quick resolution of serious issues, they prioritise children's safety and peace of mind for all stakeholders.

 

Due to ongoing expansion in the QLD & interstate market, Play Force is seeking a Sales Consultant to assist with managing high-level operational activities associated with sales and marketing, and client relationship management. They welcome candidates who are motivated to progress in their careers, willing to learn the business, and potentially grow into a leadership role. The role will report to the National Business Development Manager and will be a predominantly work-from-home role. The Position…

The position is responsible for providing support to the National Business Development Manager in driving Play Force’s growth strategy by: (i) managing and executing key marketing activities; (ii) following up leads; and (iii) providing sales support.

 

Specifically, this role will be in charge of handling routine playground inspection quoting and providing administrative support for state and national conferences and road shows. 

 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships to understand their safety needs & requirements.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Collaborate with the risk assessment and maintenance teams to ensure service quality
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences & networking events to represent the company & generate leads.
  • Executing repeat inspection programs by contacting existing clients (via email and phone).
  • Assisting the team and manager in achieving the company’s objectives & sales targets.
  • Fostering strong working relationships internally (Management and the wider Sales and Maintenance teams) and with external stakeholders including clients, conference organisers and industry members.

  


Ideal Candidate Criteria…

The ideal candidate will have the following:


  • QLD Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales support, administration, or a coordination role (mandatory)
  • Previous experience within the landscaping, construction, or maintenance industries (desirable)
  • Working with Children Check (Paid employment); can be obtained when commencing the job
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) and CRM/Job Management software
  • High level of written and verbal English communication for professional client interaction
  • Competent with numbers and general mathematics to ensure accurate quoting and margin analysis
  • High level of organisation and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Honest, accountable, reliable, self-driven & strong work ethic
  • Able to work autonomously & strong problem-solving skills
