We are seeking a talented Temporary Copywriter to join our creative team for a leave coverage assignment from July through September 2026.


We're looking for a writer who understands the power of storytelling and can create work that authentically connects with diverse audiences. This individual will bring strong conceptual thinking, exceptional writing skills, and experience developing culturally relevant campaigns for consumer-facing brands.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing a social post, developing an integrated campaign concept, crafting video scripts, or helping shape a brand narrative. They are collaborative, curious, and passionate about creating work that moves both people and business.

  • Develop compelling creative concepts and copy across multiple channels and platforms
  • Partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Strategists, and Account teams to bring ideas to life
  • Write for a variety of formats including social, digital, video, experiential, CRM, and integrated campaigns
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative development workshops
  • Present creative ideas and rationale to internal teams
  • Ensure all work aligns with brand voice, business objectives, and creative excellence standards
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment
Requirements
  • 5 - 8 years of copywriting experience within an advertising agency, creative agency, or in-house creative team
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating produced work for major brands
  • Experience developing multicultural marketing campaigns and culturally relevant storytelling
  • Experience supporting Retail, Automotive, and QSR brands preferred
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to generate ideas across channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and receive constructive feedback
  • Award-winning work is a plus
