Role Designation: Remote in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia

Responsibilities:

  • Create, organize and manage various documents in support of a team of 3 lawyers. 
  • Regularly communicate with in-house lawyers and clients on litigation files.
  • Maintain electronic files, records, and correspondence
  • Handle confidential information with discretion, confidentiality and judgment
  • Managing day-to-day meeting schedules, file organization, and correspondence handling.

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of experience as a legal assistant or law clerk  
  • An in-depth understanding of legal terminology, technicalities, and pressure coupled with excellent analytical, organizational and multitasking skills ease is sought.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Team and Co-Pilot.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Bilingual an asset
  • Experience in Insurance Litigation

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 53,940.00 - 83,095.50 annually.  Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
